What you're seeing
A community of people in need (gray dots). You start giving money to help them one by one (they turn green). But here's the twist: helped people sometimes help others for free (gold dots). Your money seeds a chain reaction.
How to read the graph
Gray dots are unhelped. Green glowing dots were helped directly by you (costs money). Gold glowing dots were helped through the pay-it-forward chain (free). The wallet bar at the bottom shows your remaining funds. Watch the multiplier in the stats panel.
The key lesson
Direct giving is limited by your wallet. But if even 30% of helped people pay it forward, your impact multiplies dramatically. This is why catalytic philanthropy — helping people become helpers — is exponentially more powerful than writing checks. One generous person can change an entire community.
