What you're seeing
A social network where one person starts sharing an idea. Lines show who knows who. Watch whether the idea lights up the whole network or dies in a corner.
How to read the graph
Dark nodes haven't heard the idea. Glowing cyan nodes are actively sharing it. Dimmed nodes saw it but moved on. Lines between nodes light up when both sides have been reached. The mini chart tracks spread over time.
The key lesson
There's a sharp tipping point. Below a certain sharing threshold, ideas die quickly no matter how good they are. Above it, they explode. Nearly identical ideas can have wildly different fates based on tiny differences in shareability. Virality is a phase transition, not a gradient.
